If you've ever been to the Olive Garden, you've likely had their salad dressing and fell in love with it. If you've ever Googled the recipe to try and make it at home, you likely noticed that all of them contain sugar, and/or packaged dry Italian salad dressing mix, which is full of chemicals and other junk. So now I've finally created a dressing as close to the original as I can get, AND it's 100% clean.

Organic Ingredients

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil (use the high quality stuff whenever you're not going to be cooking/heating it)

1/4 cup white wine vinegar

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp freeze-dried garlic (can use fresh)

1 tsp dried basil

1 tsp dried oregano

1/4 tsp red chili flakes

1/4 tsp Redmond's Real Salt

1 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper

Directions

In a tall jar (if you've got an immersion blender), or a blender cup, add all ingredients and whiz up until very well blended. Makes a hearty batch, so store the leftovers in the fridge in an airtight jar and re-blend before serving.
