Brussels Parmesan

Organic Ingredients


4 slices thick cut bacon (no nitrates, no junk), chopped up

4 cups shaved fresh brussel sprouts

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan

Real Salt & black pepper to taste

**optional ingredients**

1/4 cup heavy cream

More Parmesan


Directions


In a large frying pan, add the bacon and saute on medium-high for 1-2 minutes or just until some of the fat has rendered out. Add the shaved brussel sprouts, and cook 4-6 minutes (I like mine tender-crisp, like an al dente pasta texture, so I don't cook mine too long). Turn off heat, shave the Parmesan all over the top, and voila!


If you wanna get real crazy and indulgent, mix the Parmesan in, add a splash of heavy cream, and shave more fresh Parmesan on top when serving.
